Against the Grain has a carefully selected range of fabrics which will co-ordinate well with the furniture collection. Whether selecting from our range or choosing your own fabric it is important to consider the item’s end use.
Against the Grain uses only the highest quality mahogany, sourced from sustainable and renewable forests. It is important to note that the colour of raw mahogany can vary according to a number of factors (age, storage, source, etc). The colour of the original wood influences the shade of the polish achieved during the finishing process so a sample may differ slightly from the final product.
It is important to note that as all our furniture is handmade measurements are approximate and could vary a little from the sizes listed.
Due to the bespoke and unique nature of Against the Grain the personal service we offer is a vital part of the process. Your first communication with Against the Grain is likely to be an email acknowledging that we have received your order. From here we will be in touch to talk through the finer details of your choice and supply samples on request. Your order as such will not be accepted until both parties are entirely happy with the choices made. The contract between us will begin when we send you the order and dispatch confirmation.
