DELIVERY  A delivery charge is applied to orders, the amount varies depending on location. We regularly deliver across mainland Britain however collection from our offices in Lancashire is also possible. In order that the delivery process is completed successfully it is the responsibility of the customer to check measurements to all access areas (stairs, doorways, etc), inform us of any access or parking restrictions and any circumstances which may prevent a successful delivery. We are unable to refund orders which cannot be delivered due to access restrictions or do not fit into the intended room. Although every effort is made to get your furniture to you in perfect condition, on rare occasions damages do occur. You will be asked to sign a note on delivery so please check your furniture over thoroughly when it is delivered - your signature constitutes acceptance of the items.  Any damage or defect must be noted on the delivery paperwork when the goods are accepted. We cannot be held responsible for information which has not been noted on this paperwork. Where a delivery date has been agreed but the customer is not present or unwilling to receive the delivery a charge will be applied for redelivery. In circumstances when a delivery has not been completed successfully Against the Grain will get in touch to make arrangements, please do not return damaged products unless asked to do so.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY  At this time unfortunately we are unable to ship overseas. We do however work with a number of overseas customers who organise tranfer themselves via Shippers based in the UK. In this instance we require full details of your Shipper and will provide them with any information they may need as well as delivering your furniture to their UK base.  Against the Grain is unable to pack for export.

RETURNS More often than not furniture has been finished to your bespoke specifications so goods are only refundable if damaged or faulty. Once an order has been confirmed and is in production it cannot be cancelled.  In order to meet your expectations we do our best to provide full details and photographs on our website, provide samples and are always available for advice. Please do keep in mind that all our furniture is handmade from solid mahogany, a natural product, so there may be slight variances – please refer to the Information page of this website.

Against the Grain adopts a strict process of quality control and if any item is found to be faulty or damaged on delivery we will repair or replace it at no cost.
